I have received your letters with van der Spieghel but the goods have not yet been unloaded I am sending you 900 bushels peas amongst which are 40 green one the measur(er) has measured it so that with the measuring fee and freight is 90 guilders here is still in the attic 27 bushels which I keep here for sowing peas and 81 bushels has been sold every so often and fed to our horse so that there are 44 bushels short on xxx the measure I send your 4 packs deer skins no. 1 lb. is 30 skins weighs 132 lb. no. 2 weighs 132 lb. 30 skins f 139 lb. no. 3 weighs 155 lb 30 skins f 155 lb no. 4 weighs 164 lb 30 skins f 164 xxx still 14 skins weigh 48 f 48 no. 5 are packed with 25 bear skins together the skins I got for money one guilder and 25 nickels 1 lb. and for debt 9 penc the lb. and the bearskins are for 8 and 10 and 11 guilders the piece if the yacht goes to Baston send for a muff and a cradle I xxxxxx have not got one if you send for goods for that you know yourself what is useful here I have about 30 lb. in beaver pelts here if I receive more I will send it off I am sending you a trunk xxxxxx which contains a ....... (pent/lingh a pillow a comb a sheet and your regular coat and camisole and your pants a shirt and your cane 2 wigs and 2 copybooks of letters and the proposition book and the papers of Donghom and xxxxxxxxx propositions that is all I can find our Johan is at Karel’s with Mouris and Dick Hil toxx xxxxx go and plant the tree and prune (one line missing)
28. To plant others instead Robbert will now soon give his decision whether or not he will rent the farm I had thought that you would have sent up the chest there are diapers in which I need I hope in God that milord has arrived for it saddens me greatly to be without your company in the condition that I am herewith break off and commend you into the protection of the Most Highest Your loving wife Alida Livinghston
