I have received your 2 letters and read from there that you need Indian wares here is nothing to be had but for 4 pieces at of duffels (x) at Hansooms and 9 shilling the geert and perhaps even more expensive because so many Indians are expected there he can do without a piece of......( strowaters = strawwaters ?) madam Inghlesbie will have 2 pieces extra if you will give her what you paid others you can have that and I believe it of milords and children’s company if you can not get anything else here there is no linen to be gotten you will have to take east Indian cotton for shirts it was earlier 3 guilders or 4 gu the geert Dick Teunesse now has written me that he wants 10 guilders 10 nickels for his wheat but when we have it we can say that the letter with 9 guilders was sent to you and I wrote you and send his tax and you wrote at the soonest that you would take it
