Signed with printed signatures of Frederick Augustus Muhlenberg, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ralph Izard, President of the Senate, and approved by George Washington as President. Printed act establishes a yearly tax on all carriages used for the conveyance of persons. Decided at a session of the Third Congress in Philadelphia 2 December 1793 and approved on 5 June 1794. |
