Transcript	Show/hide Algiers- by which you will see that live battle without (illegible) may be exploited from La Cala, free of duty- and the day of eight Dollars ahead imposed on captain Hamp by the Govenor of Bona, will I dare say be rfunded when (illegible) Samuel Goods letter complaing of such an imposition reaches the day- I Taught twenty Bullocks at Algiers for twenty Dollars each, without paying any duty- They averaged 230 each- I was told by the day, that itself went ti Bona I might have as many as I pleased, & the other consul told me, at a cheaper rate than at Algiers- I am Sir Your most obedient (illegible) Ben Hallowell
