Additional Information Thomas F. Pinckney was a civil engineer who lived in Texas. Braxton Bragg was a Major General for the Confederate Army during the Civil War. In 1874 he moved to Texas and became chief engineer for the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway Company.
