Content Description Ruddock, Deputy Commissary of Military Stores at Fishkill, attests that Waterman served with "fidelity." Samuel Shaw, Knox's aide, signs a note on verso confirming that Waterman is entitled to his pay. Shaw signs 13 February 1783 at West Point on behalf of General Henry Knox.
