Content Description Appears to be a draft. Attests that Garanger was a Captain of the French Bombardiers before he joined the Continental Army. George Washington granted him permission to return to France when he could not obtain active service. "Captain Garanger has manifested an ardent Zeal to be employ'd in actual services but has not been so fortunate as to have it gratified on a large scale."
