Stationery watermarked as Royal Irish Linen Marcus Ward & Co. Number 143 is underlined and written in the upper left hand corner. One black and white bust engraving of Chester A. Arthur included. |

Additional Information | Morton was the American minister to France from 1881-1885 and the vice-president under Benjamin Harrison from 1889-1893. Pulitzer was the brother of Joseph Pulitzer, of the journalism prize. Marcus Ward & Co. was an Irish paper making company, producing primarily greeting cards. |
