Additional Information | England enlisted in the Union Army on 12 September 1861 at Utica, NY as a 1st Lieutenant. On 15 October 1861 he was commissioned into "D" Co. NY 2nd Heavy Artillery He was promoted to captain and commissioned into "F" Co. US CT 26th Infantry on 17 February 1864. He was mustered out on 28 August 1865. |
