Ordruay, Esq., Sergeant=at=Arms, or his Special Messenger: You are hereby commanded to summon W.S. Huntington Cnoht. tc to be and appear before the [inserted + struck: Subject] [struck: Committee] [inserted: Managers] of the House of Representatives of the United States, [struck: appointed] of whom the Hon. [struck: Percy J. Poutter] [inserted: John A. Duglas] is chairman to conduct the impeachment of Andw Johnson Presidt of the United States in their Chamber in the City of Washington, on Monday 18 May instant at the hour of 11.30 then and there to testify touching matters of inquiry committed to said Committee; and he is not to depart without leave of said Committee. Herein fail not, and make return of this summons Witness my hand, and the seat of the House of Representatives of the Seal United States, at the City of Washington, this 18 day of May 1868.
