Content Description Written by General Washington's aide-de-camp Colonel Humphreys to Major General Knox. Says Washington is pleased with the arrangements Knox has made. Asks that the party from the lines follow in the manner he proposed. Tells him General Howe (Robert Howe?) will meet the detachment in the "Clove" tomorrow. Says no express or information has arrived from Philadelphia since he left headquarters last evening.
