Content Description Captain Dumaresq acknowledges receipt of £500 from Fritch for a house and tract of land. Cosigned by Phillip's wife Susanna. Countersigned by Samuel Tyby and Gabriel [LeBlond?], witnesses. Samuel Sewall, Jr., justice of the peace, signs a note at the bottom of page two written 8 December 1729 in Boston, Massachusetts. Sewall attests that Phillip and Susanna signed the document by their own "free act." Samuel Gerrish, a registrar, signs a note on page three written 27 September 1735 in Boston, Massachusetts. Gerrish attests that this document was recorded for Suffolk County. James Allen signs a note on page three written 22 May 1746. Allen acknowledges receipt of the mortgage from the property discussed in the original document, upon the death of Thomas Fitch. Samuel Torrey and Joshua Benjamin countersign Allen's note as witnesses. Jacob Wendell, justice of the peace, signs a note on page three written 22 May 1746 in Boston, Massachusetts. Wendell attests that Allen signed by his own "free act." Ezekiel Goldthwait, a registrar, signs a note on page four written 27 May 1746 in Boston, Massachusetts.
