Content Description Writes to an unknown dear friend that she is very disappointed they could not see each other. Remarks that she would not have passed through Winchester, Virginia without visiting her, but her mother was expecting her arrival at her the home of her sister-in-law (Eleanor Madison Hite). Relays that they are now on their way to Orange, Virginia. Discusses some personal matters and mutual acquaintances. Talks of Sally Pemberton's accident. Hopes to see the recipient in Orange.
