Content Description | Signed in text twice by Knox as "HK." Writes he is conveying property to "WB" (referring to William Bingham). Wants to make sure everything is clearly expressed so the "true intent and meaning" of the deal is known to all parties. Includes mention of Jean-Baptise de LaRoche and Madam Rosalie de Leval. Date is not listed, however, the majority of Knox's land dealings with the three parties mentioned above were in the years 1791-1796. Knox's working draft. |
