Content Description Requests that Morris deliver letters from Brown to his wife. Brown calls his separation from his wife cruel because he is "conscious of not administering any offence to the true friends of America." Addressed to Morris as a Member of Congress at Yorktown. Brown, a Philadelphia Quaker, had been exiled to Virginia on suspicion of Loyalist sympathies.
