Title Four propositions for abolitionists

Content Description Appears to be an outline written by the superintendent of Sabbath School in a Baptist church, attempting to devise a plan to accommodate abolitionists in the congregation. An issue to be covered under this proposition regarding communion is: "When I would not leave the Table were a slaveholder or the Devil to take a seat there." Third proposition will discuss releasing abolitionists from Church Covenant, discontinuing their requirement to attend Church meetings. The fourth proposition will cover the duty of abolitionists and the privileges sacred to abolitionists by the Church. Contains several pencil notes on page two. Circa date based on GLC06593.09.
