Additional Information | Dr. Locy was a surgeon with the United States Navy and toured with the 6th Regiment of the U.S. Marine Corps. The Locy system for classifying Naval Postmarks, named for Locy after a 1929 article, remains the basis for postmark classifications in use today by all Naval Cover collectors. |
