Additional Information | Francis L. Lee was a Virginia delegate to the Continental Congress 1775-1779 and a signer of the Declaration of Independence, as was his brother Richard Henry Lee. His brother William was elected sheriff of London, and later became City Alderman. As a prominent political figure in England, he supported the rights of the colonies in America. |
