Content Description | Saltonstall explains how he had a visit with Madame Winthrop and her daughter Mary, who is married to Livingston's son John. Saltonstall tried to persuade Mary to travel to New York, but she was in such poor health that she could not travel. He therefore forwards her regards to Livingston, and expresses hope that she may be cured soon. |
