Additional Information | Between 1837 and 1844, McKenney and Hall collected and published a series of hand-colored lithographs depicting Native American tribal leaders and members of their parties. These lithographs were based on paintings done while the leaders visited Washington, D.C to sign treaties. The octavo size of Wat-Che-Mon-Ne was printed in several editions between 1842 and 1870. |
