Content Description | Written by Lieutenant Colonel Antill to Major General Knox. Returns an enclosed provision order (not included) for rations for his family. Asks him to sign and return it by the bearer of this letter. Says "this form I made has been purused ever since the contract, the second in command to sign these kind of Extra Issues." Says General Heath signed his paperwork last month. The letter is marked as having been sent express. There are several dates on this document, but the 7th was chosen, and Knox's reply at GLC02437.02247 was on 7 July 1783. |
