Content Description | Written from "Rocky Mount," South Carolina. Declares that several letters he wrote to Knox did not arrive safely, so he is sending another and hopes Knox will receive it. Has enclosed a copy of his proposition (a plan regarding inland navigation and communications in South Carolina, GLC02437.04228) and is sure the government will look favorably on it. Hopes that Knox can promote the project to his friends. Also offers to provide Knox with any news or information about the Southern states should he have questions. |
