Discusses the French Revolution: "What an uproar in France! The instability of human affairs has never been displayed in stronger colors! The clouds and darkness hang on the issue." Mentions the Marquis de Lafayette. Adds that he is sorry to hear that Wadsworth and his children have the influenza. |
