Content Description Writes, in response to Tuckerman's letter (see GLC02437.07818), that he has excellent land for sale and that he would be happy to settle it with the industrious Scotch men Tuckerman recommended. Provides the terms of purchase, including an offer of "extensive credit." Explains that settling and clearing new land is a difficult endeavor that requires fortitude, and hopes the settlers will be able to accomplish it.
