Content Description | Davis reports recieving an abstract from "His Excellency Sidi Ahmet . . . of his debts amounting to $1,110." He informs Higgens of Sidi Ahmet's possible assumption of the reign in Derna, and says: "[i]n that event his creditors may be satisfied within a reasonable time, say six months."
