Content Description | Informs Knox they have completed the business (surveying) and they no longer need all the reinforcements. Reports the "Jacobins of the wilderness" burnt down Mr. Joseph Jones and Mr. Benjamin Bartlett's barns full of goods. States, "our enemies have not resolution sufficient to meet us but vent their spite on the poor defenseless inhabitants." See GLC02437.07603 for a list of goods lost in the fire. |
