Content Description Discusses financial matters involving the townspeople and the prisoners (likely in Maine). Mentions the new prisoners who were brought in for firing at the surveyors on 16 July [1800?]. Notes he and [Robert?] Houston examined the prisoners last evening and found two who were brought in by mistake; no evidence could be obtained from the two prisoners so they were released. Requests eight muskets and says he will begin surveying once again.
