Additional Information | Signer of the U.S. Constitution. Thomas Mifflin was a general and aide to Washington during the American Revolution. He later held various political posts in Pennsylvania, including member of the Continental Congress, signer of the Constitution, and governor. At the time of this letter he was President of the Supreme Executive Council of Pennsylvania. |
