Additional Information Signer of the U.S. Constitution. Morris was a signer of the Constitution from Pennsylvania and a Federalist senator from New York who served from 1800-1803. Chassanis purchased land that is now Lewis County, New York in 1792. Tillier was the first land agent and was superseded by Morris in 1800.
