Liverpool 25 July 1795 Gentlemen The model is made by a scale of 2/4 In: to a foot and fixed in the same manner as as [sic] they are in this place-- the Curve part under the Whele [sic] that the Lever is Connected with by an Iron Rod - is a Brake used here in lowering Corn or other Goods with aney [sic] man at the handles-- the shines in the Catthead betwixt the Jigger shines are ment [sic] for the h[o]isting [sic] of heavy Goods, with a three fould [sic] takle - and a whele [sic] and pirsion [sic] fixed in front of the Jigger to fix the fall too, with that power two men Can h[o]ist [sic] and lower any [illegible] Hogsheads etc. If aney [sic] further discription [sic] is [illegible] mention to your friend in your next letters-- we have in Generall [sic] a small floor fixed up in the Roof of the warehouse to fix the Jigger & Heavy takle in and there the Highest Room is a Complate [sic] Corn Room -- I am Gentlemen your obed[ien]t.
