Date 2 September 1792

Content Description Agrees with Knox on the necessity of having a survey done on the land, but states that it will be difficult to find trustworthy men to conduct the survey. Reports that Madame de Leval has not yet arrived, so he does not yet know what the Committee will decide regarding their application. He is still of the same opinion he had been, however.
