Content Description | Requests that Knox choose "Mr. Samuel Andrews" to "be appointed an Ensign to the vacancy of Mr. Joseph Peirce." Nominates "Mr. Samuel Hall of Boston as an Ensign." Nathanial Balch, Jackson writes, will send a letter to Knox on his son's behalf as well. Notes at the end that he will write more later concerning the 2nd Regiment. |
