Content Description | Lists charges to Knox's account from Indian treaties. Total amounts to $3,479.39 ¼. Two notes. First dated 12 November. States "I certify that the above Acct. is a True Copy the original of which is filed on Record in this Office." Second dated 16 November. States "In addition to my Certificate of this date, I further Certify that that Balance of Three thousand four hundred and seventy six Dollars 39¼/100 has been accounted for by the Secretary of War as appear by Auditor Statement No. 1756 dated Nov. 16. 1791." Watermarked "S W L" and with a hunting horn. |
