Content Description Includes copies of three letters. The first, dated September 1783, is from Lieutenant Colonel Antill to Knox. In the letter, Antill asks Knox to issue provisions to five Canadian refugees. The second letter, undated, is from Knox to an unspecified recipient. In the letter, Knox attests that the Commander in Chief (George Washington) specified that the family of Colonel Antill should draw provisions. The final letter, dated 14 September 1783 is from Knox to Antill. In the letter, Knox informs Antill he has signed the order [for provisions] and will submit the order to the Minister of War (possibly Benjamin Lincoln, Secretary at War).
