Content Description | Suggests that in the interest of the public good that he and Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton should work with [William] Duer of New York "who is interested in the contract for supplying the troops [on the Frontiers]." Express his concern over some "unsettled business" between Duer and Walker which might make it difficult to proceed. Hopes Walker can assure that Duer will assist this process. |
