Show/hide Download PDF [draft] Philadelphia Thursday 20th September 1792 I have received your kind letter of the 13th instant I am so grateful for a line from your being with our children my all precious wealth in this world, that I ought not to repine at the shortness of your favors. from your information I shall look out with perturbation for Saturdays post which I hope will inform me of your being [strikeout] relieved from your burden and sweetly solaced by the smiles of your enfant for your trouble - As for me I shall give you all possible proofs of my affection As soon as you may bear the journey without [illegible] or injury, I shall expect [struck: to me] you to set me for your lover - I shall attempt to meet you as early as possible that is as possible [2] towards Boston - But it will be necessary to be very punctual - but more of this hereafter - my imagination is too rapidly progressing to an interview that cannot possibly take place for an age My brother is very solicitous to be prepared to you with all just affection - & to Lucy & the children and to Mrs Flucker for whom he has an high opinion Mr & Mrs Bingham has returned from [black point/pont?] - I have not seen her, but I believe she was while there dying of the ennui God bless you all - I shall write Lucy on Sunday Yours H Knox Mrs Knox
