Content Description Letter of introduction to Lafayette for Major [possibly Elnathan] Haskell. Says he might remember Haskell from the camp of General Robert Howe. Says "He was a brave officer and is a worthy citizen." Reports that Haskell is going to Europe on some sort of business, which he has no doubt is honorable.
