Content Description He discusses what she can do to occupy her time and suggests Sunday reading. He watched a religious procession in Lisbon. He is embarrassed to say that while the officers of the Prussian ships can all speak English, no one on board his ship can speak French, which the Prussian officers regard as the universal language.
