Additional Information Patterson refers to Robert Patterson, a colonel in the Continental Army who also served in the Indian campaigns with George Rogers Clark. He is one of the founders of the cities of Lexington, Kentucky, and Cincinnati, Ohio and continued his military service as a Quartermaster during the War of 1812.
