Content Description James Duane writes that he and his family are in good health and spirits, and thus asks Robert: "But what my dear Sir shall I say on the tender subject of your present uneasiness! ... Your own Piety and Fortitude can alone teach you Patience Resignation and Forgiveness." He also notes that his sister-in-law "Kitty" [Catharine] is in great distress due to her father's displeasure with her.
