Content Description | Rivington, a journalist and bookseller, writes to an unspecified recipient (possibly Henry Knox). Writes, "I would long ago have sent you the Irish Editions you wanted but on examining found I had no quantity to make up a parcell [sic]... I now trouble you with 6 Dozen of my almanack with a list of the whole American Army Subalterns included which never was done before & will be much demanded by the military..." Also transmits a parcel for D. Philips of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and some pills Rivington claims can cure a great number of [ailments?]. |
