Content Description | Has a postal stamped [New?] Haven dated June 20th. Informs Knox he sent Julia [Knox?] a horse. Describes the horse as not being handsome but says it is a Narragansett Breed, which is the best of breeds. Recommends Knox has the horse saddled immediately upon its arrival. Writes, "Gentle usage will make her a perfect Ladys Horse - but if he is whipped or harshly dealt with she will be good for nothing." "Free" stamped on address leaf with no signature. |
