Content Description | Written from Fort Washington, near present-day Cincinnati, Ohio. Writes to Knox about a disagreement between Major Hodgson and Major Zeigler. Offered to mediate their disagreement, but was denied. Asks Knox to step in, as the Majors are threatening to resign. Adds that he has focused so heavily on dealing with this problem that he has been unable to handle larger issues facing the soldiers in the Fort Washington area. However, he promises to address these other issues with due haste. |
