Content Description Accepts the proposal for rations for the Rhode Island recruits on their march to join the army. States that the first detachment will be of 50 men who will arrive at Hartford on 5 or 6 April and will require five rations for their trip to Fishkill. Postscript states hard bread is preferred over flour. Olney was Lieutenant Colonel of Rhode Island recruits.
