Content Description | Campbell, a sub-Indian agent under Graham, reports on various difficulties he is encountering while dealing with Indians in Missouri: a party of Delaware Indians led by Chief William Anderson are opposing relocation to Kansas; problems related to Kickapoo annuities, horse thefts, and the lack of an interpreter; the imminent arrival of the Cherokee and their (and the Delaware) war with the Osage; and, a drunken associate that was giving him no assistance. |
