Content Description Encloses a return of ordnance and stores. Reports that nothing will be done in the fall toward building the magazine at Fort Clinton or Fort Putnam because of all the work needed to prepare for winter. The artificers have been building a workshop at West Point to work in over the winter. Indicates that a Mr. Gray has been appointed a commissary of military stores for General William Heath. Colonel Crane commanded the 3rd Battalion of Artillery.
