Content Description Writes about the proposed reorganization of his son's (Lieutenant Ward Marston) corps in the Marines. He is worried this will adversely affect his son's rank and asks Hobart for advice. Mentions President John Adams, "I was last evening with the venerable Sage of Quincy; his health was only tolerably good, but his mind was brilliant. God grant he may live many years, and continue a blessing to our Country."
