Content Description Received the letters Knox sent to him the previous November. Confirms that he is sending Knox the merchandise he asked for, including wine and a pipe. Has carefully monitored the quality of the items and is confident they will be to Knox's satisfaction. Discusses methods of payment for the goods. Presents his compliments to Knox's wife, and sends news of some of their friends. Also asks that if Knox is pleased with the wine, he recommend Pintard's services to his friends.
