Content Description | Informs Knox that the bearer of the letter, William Morris, was appointed Captain to command the forces "destined for the western frontiers." Morris is very disappointed by this appointment. Sullivan asks Knox if there is anything that can be done for Morris and that he will "hazard my own reputation upon his fidelity courage and good conduct..." |
