Also offers to provide any new or "interesting intelligence" from Poland. Updates Knox on political matters in Poland, including campaigns and insurrections. Mentions Bastia surrendered to Lord Hood, mostly due to lack of supplies. Notes there have been several French ships cruising in the Mediterranean, even with the British nearby. Comments the Spaniards were once again defeated in Catalonia. Mentions a rumor about Knox retiring. |
